SFSA is a trade association representing steel foundries. Companies - not individuals, Steel casting producers only, Regular members - U.S., Canada and Mexico, Associate members - international.Funded by members for over 90 years. Receives financial support from other interested organizations including the U.S. Department of Energy and U.S. Department of Defense. SFSA's research programs are devoted exclusively to steel castings. Seperate research committees for Carbon & Low Alloy and High Alloy projects. Research conducted at universities or contract research agencies. Results of research published through Research Reports or Special Reports for members. Interim research reports presented at technical meetings and the yearly T&O Conference.
