The core business of A. E. Harris is its huge variety of pressed/stamped metal components. In addition we continue to offer a complete engineering service to our broad customer base.
Over 100 presses ranging from hand presses, through to conventional power presses up to 300 tonnes capacity to state of the art CNC controlled presses from 200 to 500 tonnes capacity.
Progression tooling fed by either roll or air feeds, handle coils up to 2.5 tonnes in weight. Secondary operations are in many instances carried out on light-curtain guarded presses facilitating faster production and tool change overs.
Most presses have air cushion variants enabling deep drawing processes to be carried out.
