Founded in a garage in Sykesville, PA in the spring of 1952, Symmco, Inc. has grown from an early pioneer to an established pacesetter in the powdered metals (P/M) manufacturing industry. All of the company's raw materials for manufacturing are in the form of powder from which sintered bronze bearings, solid and cored bars and ferrous and non-ferrous structural parts are produced. Production consists of approximately 60% bearings and 40% structurals, which are sold through distributors and manufacturers representatives. Perhaps Symmco's greatest strength is having the largest inventory of sintered bronze bearings in the country. Over 1500 stock sizes are available for immediate shipment.
