Ithaca Materials Research & Testing (IMR Test Labs) is an A2LA accredited research and testing laboratory serving the automotive, aerospace, consumer products, and industrial goods industries. Testing services include metallurgical analysis, chemical analysis, mechanical testing, failure analysis, salt fog testing, environmental simulation, and polymer testing. The lab also provides a full range of services geared toward reverse engineering and competitive benchmarking of a wide range of products. With a staff of 30 engineers, scientists, and support staff housed in a newly completed 13,000 square-foot facility, IMR has the equipment and personnel necessary to analyze the toughest product failures, as well as handle routine test programs.
