Materials Forged Progressive steps shape forgings to create component parts with the highest metallurgical reliablity. Materials formed include carbon, alloy, stainless and tool steels, as well as high temperature and aluminum alloys. The training and skill of our team provides flexibility in meeting customer requirements. Forging Processes The core of our business is impression die hammer forgings up to 8 pounds, upset and open end die forgings up to 15 pounds and industrial blacksmithing of tools and special shapes up to 50 pounds. Our reconditioned 650 Ton, long stroke National MAXI Press was installed in 1998, including new PLC controls. This equipment has improved our abilities in the area of aluminum forgings and extended our manufacturing capabilities.
