GATETECH was established by Chairman PAUL P.C. CHENG in May of 1988, with initial capital of $50 million NTD. Manufacturing is mainly on OEM of Aluminum alloy die casting parts for automobiles. In year 2000, the capital is increased up to $400 million NTD. The headquarter and aluminum plant (6,600 m2) involving the die casting, machining and assembly is located in Yue Mei, Chungli, Taoyuan, while the new magnesium plant involving die casting, machining, assembly and surface treatment is established in Guanyin, Taoyuan.
