The foundry is well equipped to produce high quality precision castings. The melting bay consists of three medium frequency Induction Furnaces manufactured by Inductotherm. The moulding section consists of two moulding lines having George Ficher DISA Moulding Machines with a capacity of 300 moulds/hr. The Green Sand requirement is sufficed by a fully mechanised sand handling system, which includes intensive sand mixers manufactured by George Ficher. The cores are made by Cold Box Core Shooting Machines. For Development & Processing the foundry is well supported by Pattern Shop, Fettling & Grinding Shop, Heat Treatment Shop with Electrical Bell & Pit Cycle Annealing Furnaces, Galvanizing Shop & Machine Shop. For proper Process & Quality Control all desired tests are carried out in well-equipped Chemical, Physical & Metallographic Laboratories. PATTERN SHOP For development and maintenance of patterns the company has well-equipped Pattern Shop. The development of the pattern as per the customer's drawing is done in house supported by latest software. A task force of about twenty highly skilled personnel ensure development and regular availability of highly accurate pattern plates for dimensional consistency of the castings.
