The aluminum components we manufacture range in weight from ounces to just under 30 pounds, and are forged into a wide variety of shapes and sizes. To prepare forged aluminum products for secondary machining and assembly, Waltec has in-house heat treating capabilities at both of our locations. Our furnaces are calibrated to meet MIL-H-6088 standards. We also have a variety of cleaning processes including chemical, vibratory and blast. Screw Machine Parts Waltec has nearly a century of experience with brass screw machine products. We have made the investment in plant and equipment so we can produce a wide variety of brass screw machine products in short, medium and long run quantities. Our high volume brass buying power offers extraordinary value to our customers. Our bank of automatic screw machines produces quality components up to 2.625" (60mm) diameter, using CNC slides and pick-off attachments to eliminate handling. We also have CNC turning centers and an auto-bar fed rotary transfer machine.
