ABAL brings together associated companies that represent 100% of primary aluminum producers, as well as aluminum transformers – which represent around 80% of Brazilian domestic consumption –, consumers of aluminum products, suppliers of inputs, service providers, traders and metal recyclers.
The entity operates through Technical and Market Committees to develop its activities and meet its main challenges, among which stand out competitiveness, the dissemination of aluminum applications, the encouragement of its new applications and the solidarity of the economic interests of the sector, as well as the representation of these interests before government agencies and the care with the institutional image and the aluminum product.
