I am doing a project to recognize the contribution of our solders who have died in the Iraq war, and Afghanistan. As a gesture of gratitude for their service I am assembling volunteers to make dog tags stamped with messages of thanks to send to the widows, widowers and families of the fallen solders. The project is called Love tags.
To date there are 5,372 American deaths due to these conflicts. About half of these are assumed to be married. We are seeking to provide as many of these families with our gesture of gratitude as possible.
You can help us with this project by your generous contribution of materials and tools. We are in need of 15 alphabet stamp sets, 40 12”x12” plates of copper, brass and nickel 22 gauge, base metal ball chain and connectors 1500 feet.
Any contribution your are able to make will be greatly appreciated.
