Granutech/Saturn is a leader in the waste reduction industry, building quality equipment for many applications for over forty years. And we currently have a very nice used older shredder here that would make you an excellent shredder for many types of materials such as plastics, light gauge metals, wood, paper, aluminum, fiberglass, MSW. This 62x40 shredder is powered by (2) 100 H.P. electric motors, that are direct coupled to (2) Dennison hydraulic pumps that power a KYB 525 hydraulic motor. The (2) hook 1½” thick knives in this shredder look to be in excellent condition, almost like new, and show no signs of wear. This machine should easily take the material mentioned down to a primary shred. This is a great price for this model of shredder, and will work great for taking material to a landfill acceptable material in most landfills (check your local landfill for restrictions). The electric control panel was rebuilt, and we tested the machine, it runs good. This shredder comes complete with the model 62 X40 shredder, the 200 H.P hydraulic power pac, shredder stand, and shredder in-feed hopper. This machine has 3 hook 1 ½” knives that will be rebuilt. The machine is powered with 2-75 hp 3-phase electric motors with a hydraulic drive. The 62 inch wide and 40 inch long cutting chamber allows for a variety of materials to be handled by this shredder. This would be a good machine for shredding passenger tires, plastics, light metals, electronic waste, rubber and pallets. This system will come with a BHS disc screen classifier and recirculating conveyors to make this a complete 2 inch chip system.
